It is exacerbated by customers that are existing ATT customers with accounts that want to use their smartphone/device apps like HBO GO, SHOWTIME ANYTIME, etc. I can only surmise that whatever federated security you have working between ATT and DirectTV is not working correctly. Only when I change my TV Provider (under settings in the iPhone or on the Apple TV) from ATT U-Verse to DirectTV, I am given another error see second attached picture. I am able to login to the MyATT app, the DirectTV app. Switched to DirectTV due to the packages and the clarity of the picture being so much better. I have been an ATT U-Verse customer for 8-10 years. After my u-verse tv subscription was closed out (happened yesterday or today), I tried to watch HBO GO from my apple tv and received "sign-in error" see the attached picture. Switched cable tv from ATT U-Verse to DirectTV last week. Now its escalated to the "engineering team?" ![]() Old U-Verse TV PROVIDER in Settings of iPhone/Apple TVĪTT - THIS IS A HUGE PAIN IN THE A** I just spent 3 hours with 3 different tech.
